The story goes...
This was my travel blog long long ago when I quit my job and wandered the world for two years. In 2011, I left Thailand for Texas and have been living the American Life ever since. I don't really blog anymore, but every now and then I think about it...

Sirius is the boat on which I sailed from Langkawi, Malaysia to Phuket, Thailand in November 2009 and did the King’s Cup Regatta in Phuket in December ’09.

Gulfstar 54 Sailcruiser
Sybaris is the boat on which I sailed from Egypt to Lebanon and Cyprus in March-April 2009.

aarrggh! pirates, american hating egyptians and a u.s. designated no travel country. not to mention you wandering around foreign lands on your own and hooking up with randoms. i'm gonna be a basket case by the time you get back. couldn't you have just done the yoga retreat or plum village???
it really is a fantastic adventure and i love reading your updates...good and bad. enjoy your freedom and be safe.
